Grand Rapids, MI (Aug. 30, 2017) – Triangle Associates, Inc. was recently recognized by the Association of Builders and Contractors-West Michigan Chapter as a recipient of the Diamond Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) award, the highest safety award presented by the organization. Triangle was one of only seven construction companies in West Michigan to earn the diamond award.
In order to be named a STEP award recipient in one of six categories, a company must meet stringent qualifications established in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) committee. This program was developed and written by contractors for contractors; participating member firms measure their safety processes and policies on 20 key components with the goal of enhancing programs that reduce jobsite incident rates.
