The district’s goal was to consolidate into four buildings: Garner Elementary, Carter Middle School, Clio High School and the transportation building. This required renovations to each building in the district as most of the current buildings last renovations were in the 1970s.

All three schools had much needed renovations and improvements including ceiling replacements, flooring replacements, air-conditioning installments and new security systems. These upgrades provide for students facilities that accommodate 21st century education.

Garner Elementary had a 25,000 sq ft classroom wing addition and a 3,000 sq ft multi-purpose room addition to accommodate the new students.

The high school had a new stadium concession and team building, new ticket booth and an artificial turf field.
