Award Winning Construction Management Design/Build LEED New Construction Self-Performing Trades

Triangle worked with Northwood University on its new Richard DeVos Graduate School of Management. The 26,000 sq. ft. facility was constructed on the northwest side of Northwood’s campus and utilized an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) system which focuses on collaboration between the owner, architect, engineers and construction manager in order to save time and financial resources at the onset of the project.

This state-of-the-art building features an open environment and provide space with the latest in technology to allow for interactive teamwork between students who are studying for advanced degrees in Business. Other highlights include a central, contemporary stair design that’s articulated with reclaimed wood cladding and glass handrails; snowmelt entrances; collaborative patio spaces; new parking; and Haworth’s patented raised access flooring.

The future vision for the DeVos Graduate School of Management project is to lead by example – creating a 21st-century environment that supports and enhances learning, programming, and the personal and professional success for each student. The use of advanced technology, energy-efficient and sustainable design, and flexible space is foundational in the student centered design of the expanded center. Northwood University is committed to the wise use of resources, sustainable design principles, lean management, energy-efficiency and environmental stewardship.

Pursuing LEED Silver Certification.
