Triangle was hired by CWD Real Estate Investment to complete the redevelopment of the Breton Village retail center in Grand Rapids, MI. The project created an open-air shopping center with outdoor seating areas, green spaces, and specialty retail stores. The Breton Village “de-malling” was complete in two phases and encompassed over 90,000 sq ft.
Phase I included the construction of a 30,000 sq ft out-lot building on the west side parking lot and site improvements.
Phase II included the demolition of the existing two-story mall interior which transformed the traditional mall to an outdoor shopping center with new facade on remaining 61,000 sq ft. New parking and site enhancements were also included.
