Construction Management Historic Renovation Tenant Build-out Urban Construction

Triangle was hired by Detroit-based Atwater Brewery to complete the tenant build-out for their new tap house in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. The nearly 6,000 square foot bar is located in the historic, and newly renovated, mixed-use condominium complex known as The Rowe (201 Michigan). The new brewery features a 120-seat dining area and a 20-stool bar area with a glass viewing wall behind the bar that looks into the brewery. There is an additional 1,500 sq ft of outdoor patio accessible by modern bi-fold glass nano walls. The 1,100 sq ft kitchen offers pub style food, and the brewery also features a retail space where customers can purchase Atwater merchandise.

Triangle incorporated reclaimed materials into the space, including the restoration of historic Terrazzo flooring that was original to the building. The bar is made from reclaimed marble and wood, and some of the tables and doors were built from old homes that were torn down in Detroit. Triangle also completed all infrastructure work for the brewery.
