Mercy Health Saint Mary’s Heart and Vascular Center Renovations

This $2.5 million renovation took place at the main entrance to Saint Mary’s Mercy Health Hospital in downtown Grand Rapids. The project included the addition of new rooms to the Heart and Vascular center and improvement to 20,000 sq ft of hospital space.

Significant planning and work went into partitioning, temporary facilities, and logistics to ensure that existing operations remained uninterrupted and the work was concealed as much as possible. The work also required a two phase multiple shift approach as the department continued to use this facility for surgery prep and patient services while construction occurred nearby. Triangle coordinated closely with facilities staff and nursing staff to ensure uninterrupted operations during this project.
