HighMark School Development
Triangle was hired to renovate an existing vacant school building into a multi-purpose elementary and middle school in Macon, GA. The former historic Eugenia Hamilton School, originally built in 1954, was stripped and rebuilt, transforming a total of 52,150 sq ft. The new academy features three buildings, which are connected by covered walkways, including a kindergarten wing, middle school wing and elementary wing addition.
The new addition included a warming kitchen, a music and dance space and 5 classrooms.
This addition will be utilized for a 9th grade class in the 2017/2018 school year and is wheelchair accessible.
The building received all new windows, paint, flooring, lockers, restrooms, doors, frames and hardware throughout. The roof was replaced and new landscape and fencing was added.
