Converted an existing facility into an actively producing steel foundry.
The renovation of this 350,000 sq ft foundry restored a facility that was once destined to be demolished, and converted it into an actively producing steel foundry. Triangle Associates was hired to complete pre-construction and construction phase planning to make the foundry operational in time to meet the owner’s contractual production deadlines. Using engineering staff, self-performing trade work, and extensive coordination with the owner, equipment suppliers, and local utilities, Triangle was able to open this facility five months after starting planning work on site.

As one of only two operating, large scale casting facilities to be opened in the United States during the last century, this project was a unique industrial opportunity for Triangle’s team to augment Rothbury Steel’s facility management staff and fast track the path to production.
