- no later than 1:00pm on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Portage Public Schools Administration Building, 8111 S. Westnedge Avenue, Portage, MI 49002, Attention: Thomas Noverr. A bid opening will be held immediately following at the Portage Central Middle School Little Theatre, 8305 S. Westnedge Ave., Portage, MI 49002.
PRE-BID MEETINGS
A pre-bid meetings for this bid package will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 2:00pm at Central Middle School Little Theatre, 8305 S. Westnedge Ave., Portage, MI 49002. There will be a walkthrough of the site and existing school following the pre-bid meeting. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. The pre-bid meeting is the only time bidders will be allowed on the site.
Prevailing wages do not apply to this project.
Cost of payment and performance bonds are required on the proposal form.
As required by State Law (P.A. 232 of 2004) all bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner and/or any employee of the bidder, and any member of the Portage Public Schools Board or the Superintendent of the District. The Board shall not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement.
